Oh lawds
Can someone please tell me what a 9yr old needs Adderall for? Need help paying attention during nap time? Cause of this crap people who actually do need it get shot down when trying to get a script. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

So that when they turn twelve they can put it up their nose to get a dirty speed high; slowly turning them into drug addicts by the time their 20 hence feeding more money into the pharmacudical industry.

Parents nowadays will believe anything a doctor says, especially therapists or psychiatrists.

i agree, this is stupid. parents go all crazy about kids having ADD... they are kids... they ALL have ADD. thats just part of being a kid. its like trying to get my puppy to not want to play and to just sit still. not going to happen.

ADD is a pretty serious thing. I have it and if I weren't diagnosed when I was, about 5th grade, I probably would have dropped out of high school and would be working some dead end job.

Instead, I'm a junior in college working towards an engineering degree.

I've also been taking adderall since I was diagnosed and am in no way addicted or will ever become a drug addict. It really does help if you truly need it.

Sorry if I sounded a little harsh, I'm a little touchy when it comes to adderall and ADD.

X2. I have it. Only took it during school though.

I didn't mean it to sound like that or offend anyone. Adderall certainly isn't the answer for my disorder or a magical cure for anything. Learning some self control and knowing how to control myself when I'm not on my meds has come a long way too.

I only take it for school as well.
