Parallel Wiring Question

I have been looking on the internet to find out how to wire my 2 single voice coil subs at 2 ohms. Well, i found the following 2 diagrams on how to do it. THe diagrams are very similar but different in one way. On one diagram, the + and - coming from the amp go to one sub and then the second sub is connected to that sub. THen, in the other way, the + from the amp is going to one sub and then the - from the amp is going to the other and then the subs are connected. Look at the diagrams and please tell me if there is any difference between the 2. Which way would you do it?

Thanks man! I am sure that you have seen a bunch of my posts asking about wiring my subs. You have actually answered a whole bunch of them. But, now I got it all straight. You probably saved me 50 bucks of paying somebody to do this, cause now that i know how to do this stuff my self.
