Panasonic Head Unit.. please help

I have a Panasonic CQ-C8100u. I've had it for a couple years now, great deck, but I've been driving a different car over the winter so this never really got used for the last couple months. Now when I start the car, the headunit only says adjust, and the backlight no longer lights up. I re-did all the wiring so I know thats an issue, does anyone have any ideas. Thanks in advance.
