do you guys paint your ports after the box is assembled or paint the wood before assembly?

I never painted my ports so idk,it seems like paint would run trying to get even coverage in a small spot.

Done it many times after assembly. If the wood is bare use some Minwax sanding sealer from home depot. Prime light coats, sand 220, prime until you have one uniformed prime surface. sand 220 then lay color down. Light coats are going to keep you from running the paint. Many light coats are better than a couple thick coats.

The black rca out is your mono sub output. That is the one you would use for signal to your sub amp.
