PA or Orion

I have both.. a Orion 2500D and a Power Acoustik A3000DB

no mic to test out my theary... but at 4 n 2ohms the pa amp sounds much LOUDER then my Orion....

also at a lower volume it is more loud aswell... but alittle more distortion at higher volumes then the Orion.

what u think people??? could it honestly be that the pa is louder? someone send me a mic ****it, lol

yeah, Id take an Orion over PA anyday

The Orion puts out its full rms at 1ohm maybe the PA does it at 2. The ORION is a way better amp in my opinion hands down.

same wires

and adjusted the amps to the settings needed..

cant test the orion out at 1ohm cause i blow my subs i kno that...

ill prolly borrow a mic later this week n see hoe it goes...

Why would a 1 ohm stable amp put out more rms at 2 ohms?

Bass boost on the amps was set to off? Gain were set via o-scope? Exact same crossover points?
