the pa is a solid amp, done a few installs with it and they turned out well, don't have any experience with the soundstream yet, the pa is a **** good bang for ya buck though imo.

these two amps use the same board fyi just that the soundstream is a little bit more updated because its an 06 model

new soundstream is power acoustik. same company. same boards. same materials. different chassis and a few little components.

i hear the a3000db does a little lower than rated not usre how much though

it will actually do a little above 2000 watts, but the the 3000 is max. now if its lower than 1 ohm, it may do more, especially for burps.

well my biased opinion says 3000db but I have never owned or heard a soundstream amp or seen one at a show burb but all i can say is my 3000db has been heavily abused and it doesnt heat up at 1ohm and I cant wait to get a 3rd sub to run it at .66.
