P99RS vs 8000nex with separate DSP

Hello everyone, I'm looking to build a new system, I'm stricken between 2 options and would like your opinions on them.

Option 1:

I was looking into getting the pioneer P99RS which would save me the trouble of getting a DSP but it doesn't have certain features that I would like to have, such as Bluetooth or aux input it just has 1 USB input in the rear of the HU.

Option 2:

I was also looking at the new Pioneer AVIC 8000nex navigation system and getting a separate DSP, it has everything that I want in a HU. What I want to know is the P99RS still better then the 8000nex with added DSP or with they be around the same? If they are the same then I won't have a problem choosing but if the P99RS is still better then the 8000nex with separate DSP then I would need to choose between better SQ or better features.

Also can anyone suggest some of the best DSP out on the market now?

I have a pioneer receiver with arc PS8 and it's pretty good. I'm not sure how a decent source unit + DSP compare to just the P99RS alone. I'd go for option to because you can get all the features of the deck and still have the tuning ability of the DSP. The PS8 is great in terms of tuning. 2 things that are bothering me a bit and I'm hoping to resolve are: alternator whine and spotty PC connectivity. I'm hoping they're specific to me and can be fixed. As far as tuning capability, it has expert mode in the software and I hear that's unmatched in the world of DSP.

its an excellent unit but I also want navigation and a screen
8000NEX is worlds apart from 80PRS in the build quality. I definitely feel the 8000NEX plus a DSP is the right choice since you want navigation and a screen. Regarding a DSP, most of them require a laptop to tune them and those that require a laptop must be used in conjunction with an RTA to get the best results. JBL MS-8 is different in that it does most of the tuning automatically without a laptop. Once you have the fundamentals of good speaker installation in place you can tune MS-8 in 15 minutes, followed by a bit of tweaking to your preferences.
