well i soldered everything this time for superior connections. i hooked up the blue wire coming from my 4runner to both antenna power and amp power blue wires and now im getting sound from the rear left and right now. no sound in the front. not even a hint of sound. im going to disconnect the antenna power wire now and see what that does. maybe that wire is taking power from the amp turn on wire. however, obviously hooking up the power amp wire now made both rear speakers work so im on the right track. I dont understand though. a cheap chinese head unit works no problem. Why does kenwood have to complinate everything. every wire is connected 100% properly. So im going to disconnect the antenna power wire from the kenwood. If that dont work then ill try connecting my external aftermarket amp power blue wire as a last ditch effort and ill report back. Im obviously not hooking up some kind of configuration to get audio out of all speakers.
