over current

the amp in my sig goes into protect under over current. only done it on the "i love you bass" song. what does this mean? the amp cant handle it or what?

haha 40 volts, the reason it does it prob because the voltage is dropping to low from your battery

sounds like to me. you dont have enough juice to supply the amp under a heavy load.......if you keep making the amp go into protect, it might just stay there and not come back out. then you will need a new amp...or need to have it repaired..

do you have a stock electrical?

amp puts out at 50 hz- ~ 40 volts

Than turn your gain down. It should only be putting out 32 volts.

just curious, why is that? if i did that, the subs wouldnt even be getting what they are rated. each sub handles 175 rms * 4 subs= 700 700* 2 ohms= 1400 sqrt 1400= 37.4
