OT: I have the coolest wife in the world

Alright this is a little off topic but it's about car audio so here goes. My anniversary is coming up next saturday 9/28. So I asked my wife what she wanted . I figured we would do our normal thing. Take the kids to my mothers. Go out to a nice dinner. And then head to the cabin at the lake //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif She said that's fine. Then she asked what I wanted and I said jokingly a couple RE XXX ( how many wives would actually know what that is ). Turns out she had allready ordered them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif The only bad thing was I ordered one also so I had to cancel my order. No biggy though Terry is a pretty understanding guy.

i've mentioned this in a previous post, but here goes again

right after i first met my girlfriend i began the planning stages of the system i have now, and was insistantly talking to her about it, even tho i knew she didn't know what the hell i was talking about. i kept on talking because i was super excited, and just needed to vent, and she was the only one around at the time. I never figured she was listening, much less absorbing what i was saying. But when I finally started working on the nuts and bolts of my system, she would sit and watch and listen to me jabber on about this does this and that does that out of her own free will. Then, the strangest thing happened: She asked to go to a show with me. We went to a local show (i wasn't competing...just enjoying) and she actually started asking the competitors questions about their equiptment....and the scary thing was, they were good valid questions! She walked around to each car with me in tow asking "what do you use?" "how loud is it?" "are those duel or single voice coil?". After I realized she had a genuine interest in competition car audio, i started showing her how to do small jobs like wire head units and amps and how to tune a crossover. She's still learning a lot (aren't we all?) and she's always first to ask questions when she doesn't understand (she doesn't have that stupid male pride that hangs most of us).

So, yeah it is cool that your wife would buy you such a nice expensive sub.....

But (and yes I am bragging!) how awesome is it to have a girl that takes a genuine interest in our hobby?

PS: we're in the design stages right now for her first system. Two audiobahn 1208Q's to follow the flame motif of her Beretta (flame print fabric on the seats and door panels and yellow-orange ghost flames on the hood and fenders) and a pair of Cadence A7's. I'll fill you guys in as it comes off the drawing board into reality.

Our anniv. is Oct. 27.....quickly approaching the one year mark!

Man that is cool a hell that she's cool like that, my wife absolutly hates the money that I spend on car audio because she thinks it's a waste.
