Edit: for the record I voted for Bush twice - and proudly so. For all those crowing about the 'lies' regarding WMDs....where were all of you when Bill Clinton was telling the American public the same thing during his tenure at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? We know Saddam had 'em - he USED them...against his own people. What in the world makes you think if he would use chemical and biological weaponry against his own populace that he would hesitate for a single moment to use them against the "infidels" of the West?!?

Basically, this is a null and void argument. Both sides are right is some ways and wrong in others. Essentially, democratic congreesmen voted for the war... And now they cry about it. They lost the election to Bush, and they cry about it. Are they right about Bush? In some ways.

OK, actually you're statement is half right. Yes, some democratic congressmen voted for the war. Are they *****ing about it now.....yes. The reason for that is once they found out that Bush lied due to faulty (or BS) intelligence that the reasons we were going over there were false of course they want to change their minds. When new and credible information surfaces on ANY issue they have the right to change their views. And as a way combatting that the republicans call them "flip-floppers".

On another note Gore never lost to Bush. He stole that election and we ALL know it. If anyone has a reason to complain about something its Al Gore.

- Don't watch and read JUST liberal or JUST conservative news,

- Don't believe what the government says without question,

- "You should respect and support bush because he is your president" is not a valid point,

- If you want to debate an issue, please come prepared. Debating with stubborn, uninformed people is just frustrating.

- Finally, THINK FOR YOURSELF! The government is very keen on brainwashing people through propaganda (iraq war? patriot act? imperialism?).

I didn't take that comment as being against Democrats at all; some people just don't handle crisis situations well. I don't think Gore would have had the cajones to handle a situation of that magnitude. Exactly how in the hell do know how Al Gore would have handled 911?? You have NO idea yet you just spouted off like you did. Doesn't make much sense to me. Tell me an instance where he has failed in such a situation in the past that would lead you to believe that he could NOT have handled it. I respect your opinion but you have no frame of reference on this one. Thats like saying a rich person would NEVER steal, yet they do.

Anyway the reason I took it as a comment against Dems is becasue that is an issue that Republican'ts use against Dems all the time. In fact, it was one of the biggest wedge issues used this past election. How else would you take it.??
