Orion xtrpro2400 inteli Q... how does it work

Hey all, I've searched up and down the internet with no success, does anyone have any idea how the "inteli q" works on these amps? right now I'm using it like an EQ, it works like a selectable frequency boost, but it must be something more because it chops the low end off and seems to reduce the overall input sensitivity when its on. Honestly, when I play with it, it just confuses me. If anyone has any info on it I would really appreciate it!
