Alot of guys run this at 1 ohm daily and have no problems. I'm doing it myself and although I never benched it, they say it does about 3600 RMS at 1 ohm.

3. Description/Condition:

Great working condition. Cosmetically 8.5 out of 10 because it has a few scratches by the model number. 10 out of 10 mechanically. Look for my matching 4 channel for sale to. I will do a package price and save on shipping. It's a little dusty in my last picture. Never been repaired.

No trades. I want to buy a different amp. Nothing personal with this amp/setup. I love it and it gets loud but I'm one of those guys who can't keep a setup for long.

Mint, almost new, underrated, works perfectly. You wouldn't be able to tell it was used if I didn't put the mounting feet on. I bought this off an older guy who never used it so I consider myself the only owner/person who used it. It was new til' 3-4 weeks ago when I finally installed it in my car. Comes with everything and all plugs.

i ran an xtr 2400 daily for a few years!! Its very similar internally to the newer Chrome Orion 2500d

that 2400 is one of my dream amps ive yet to play with.

what kind of voltage were you maintaining at 1 ohm? how did the amp handle it?

how do you think a 240amp alty and a d3100 would handle it 1 ohm?

4ga is about as big as they can take only weak link.....to amp .....but I'd do at least 2 batteries....they are current hogs

Actually, I have a 165 amp alt, big3, redtop in the front, and XS Power d975 in the rear and lowest I've seen is 12.3 but I don't sit and play tones and I don't have a clamp so I don't know how much power I'm really seeing but it does make vision blur off the Atomic apspl12's in the trunk, not to mention it has NEVER shut off on me no mater what I throw at it on 1 ohm!

Just keep it VERY LOWWWWWW! Get it while it's here. If it doesn't sell here, it's going to ebay. I've always wanted to try this amp too and it's everything I thought it would be, plus more, but I want more! I need more power for my Atomics.

I want both so bad but no cash. If it is up in a couple weeks I will def take it off your hands. Sorry to keep you waiting for a buyer, but I need a new amp, and have always wanted to play with the 2400, and having a couple pieces of nice orion would be sweet.
