Hey guys,

First I wanted to introduce myself and let you all know that you have a great site!

I was wanting to know what opinions do you have of the new Orion XTR PRO 15" 2 ohm subs.

I have 2 of them installed in a 10 cubic foot box ported and tuned @ 36 Hz. Some say the box is perfect and slams harder due to the bigger than spec size, then some say that it doesn't slam as hard as they should because of the increased size from spec. Which is right?

It slams pretty hard, but I just don't feel that it's what it should be. I'm running a solid 1000 watts to them and they take it pretty well with no stinky smells when I pound them for a while. They have over 10 hours of play time. I was told that they need over 40 hours of play time to break in. The suspension feels pretty tight still and I feel that this is the reason they aren't as loud as I feel they should be. Would you guys agree?

I think that I'm going to replace them with the AudioQue sdc2.5 15. Do you think that these will be better?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply...

I was thinking about going that route due to the fact that I can run them in a smaller enclosure AND I can put two more in there for a total of 4 15's.

I'm not to sure that I'm 100% happy with the Orions, but I keep getting told that I need to be more patient and let them break in a little while longer.. uugghhh //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
