orion hcca 250 16v?

has any body ran one of these on 16v if so what kind of power do they make.

i am wanting to build a system with with 4 of these. would i be able to compete in the 1000 watt class

if its a old school orion amp . i would say yes , it would be ok to run it a 16 volts.

i have a orion hottsetup manual and a few precision power manuals that all say the supply voltage can be from 10.5 to 16 volts....that amp should love 16 volts....

if it is i believe those rating are at 12 volts, but being that amp is a cheater amp it should put out a easy 1000 watts

You gonna run it on a 16V charging system/alt? Cause, if so, its gonna see ~17.5 -18v. Or are you talking about using a MLA?

I have also heard bout people using these on a 24v system, I aint never tried it on any of mine though.

they are beast at 16v's...i remember them being used back in 0-300 usaci super stock..i'm getting rid of my Batcap 8400 16v batteries if intrested ...since I'm getting out of competition....
