Sold Orion HCCA 225 1st gen, sold as-is, $65 + s/h

I have a nice Orion HCCA 225, 1st gen. I haven't used it in a long time, and chances are some stuff needs soldered on the board to make it work again. I believe this amp is stable down to .25 ohm, and can make 800 watts RMS when bridged with a old Audiocontrol 2XS bridge. I'm asking $65 + actual s/h. I think this would be a great old amp to fix.

Unfortunately I am out of town til Wednesday night. I haven't messed with it in awhile, but I do know it needs a resistor soldered on the board. I'll take gut pics and have them up on Thursday. I might be willing to work out a deal where you pay s/h, and then if you get it to work, pay me the $65. This is a 1st gen 225 and they were definitely under rated, and it is one of few amps that can run at .25 ohm. I ran it at .5 ohm, and I do believe it makes 800 watts RMS. If you do a bit of research, or ask around people who have owned these amps, they can make some serious power when bridged at lower impedance.

Mine benchmarked 1443rms bridged at .25 ohms 14.4V

You have enough busted oldschool stuff.

These are some of the nastiest amps ever made, if you know how to run them anyway. Cute lil cheater packs a punch for sure.

I'd be willing to make someone that deal, pay just s/h, and if you get it to work send $65. I really don't know what it needs, I've completely forgotten, all I know is it needed a resistor of some type.
