Hell no.

That is one of the most underrated "cheater" amps out there. 1600x1 is conservative IMO. I have personally seen it take .5 ohm burps with some other Orion subs, I forget what model.

I noticed you all were talking about the orion 2100 hcca amps. I wanted to know if you could give me some advice or help. I have had 2 2100's sitting in my room for a couple of years now along with a couple of 15" extreme 3 dvc subs 8 to be exact (all old school). I had these amps running at 1/2 ohm bridged to 4 subs and it worked fine. Now my question is I dont remember how to wire these amps bridged, what wires are for what. Now the harness has the blue wire, which if I recall correct was the remote. It has a yellow, black w/yellow stripe, orange, and black w/orange stripe. Now I know I am only going to use 2 of the wires to run it bridged but I dont remember which ones. I think it was the all orange wire to positive and the black w/yellow to negative, but am not sure. I has been about 6 or 7 years since I have even touched these, since they were put away. Any help would be appreciated on how to wire these amps bridged.
