Orion Hcca 12.4

I recently placed an order for the orion HCCA D5000 watt amp now... I was wondering if I can go with 2 HCCA 12.4 or a single 12.2? which of the both will be louder? or tell me to get a different subs?

that wasnt his question, anyway go with the 2 dual 4 ohms, you won't be pushing them to their true rms power levels but its more cone area and ur feeding them the same rms you would be feeding one (the 12.2) so the two will get noticably louder, help that helps man.

to break it down, essentially you're going to have more air flow, each speaker will be getting 1250 rms a piece, which isn't bad for them vs. the 2500 rms for 1.

thank you for the kindly response Fach, well what about 2 kicker L7's instead of hcca's? or any suggestions on subs that i can pair it up with the amp?

the Orion's will get a lot louder deeper than the L7's, I do not really like the L7's but thats just me. If you're going for str8 spl then the HCCA's are good to go with.

As far as sizes goes... 15" will give you more right? Do you think that 2 15's? will fit in a 95 accord with the box? or do I need to get the box custom if I go that route?
