Orion hcca 12.4

you have to give those a TON of power to get them moving, i had 2 15's and they got loud but only when i gave them around 2200-2500 each
im thinking a hifonics brutus 2600 would that be enough..because the specs are 1500rms-2000 rms with an excess of 3000 to burp

Do they sound any good. Would you take a tc-3000 over it. I was thinking about getting one to just have an all orion setup but I love the sound of the tc and haven't heard too many reviews on the orion.

HA! not gonna get anywhere near that, plus, they recommend sealed boxes only, if its the new one.
they are not for sealed boxes only. I'm sitting here looking at the owners manual right now! the recommended box is 2cuft tuned at 35hz!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Hmm there was a big discussion on here when they first came out that they reccommended sealed only.
might have been? but they are much better in ported boxes i've heard them in both, and the sealed setup was not so very much! i'm running 2 12's in a 2 cuft a side. tuned at roughly 30 31 hz and they pound, off a massive p3000.1.
