The Orion 2500D is about 7 out of 10 on the cosmetics. there's an inch long thin scratch on the top, and a few small marks or scratches here or there. overall pretty good, alot better than many others ive seen. these polished alluminum chasis scratch too **** easily.

tested and works 100%, as it should.

Most of you know what this amp can do. For the noobs it's 2500w rms @ 1ohm, proven reliability. i remember when these were going for 450-500 a piece a few years ago //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Definitly a great amp to get loud and clear on a budget. there was a thorough test done with the saz1500d, zx2500.1, and this 2500d a few years back and each amp was pretty impressive and beastie.

some of the marks are leftover dust from the cloth i whiped it down with. you can actually see a tiny bit of the windex still evaporating off it. the amp looks much better in person under normal light.

The eclipse is a dual 4 ohm setup (only vc config they made for these). It does have that sexy fat surround that were also used on the 4hp/ti pro subs. I prefer the older fat surround over the newer tall surround TC uses, but thats just me.

These are rated 750w per coil. there was some debate since sonic electronics lists these are 750w rms total. I have used these subs before and they will take 2kw of clean power allll day. I recall speaking to thilo at TC and he told me the tensile leads on these subs will take 1kw each. So 750w rms per coil is right where it should be. Many people here can vouche that these subs will take 1500w in a proper setup all day. These Ti's sound really, realy nice even in ported boxes. from what i've heard these (like the ti pros) will do best in rather small ported boxes.

I miss the Ti's ive played with. If I could put a Ti cone on my btl i would, but that a project for another day haha.

These pics were taken before having the sub cleaned up from the typical dust and such in the trunk environment. Im sure with a good whipe down it'll look a little nicer. There's a somewhat noticable mark on the bottom section of the surround, and some minor scuffs near the top. The scuffs are more cosmetic than anything else, no rips or tears. There's a few small colored spots here or there and minor scratches on the ti cone. These cones also scratch very easily so that being considered its not in too bad of shape.

no endcaps....but considering these is a typical 400-500 dollar amp for 335 im sure you can find endcaps for cheap online (as they are just plastic).

the zx2500.1 is another great amp. I've used both and you cant go wrong either way. It pretty much boils down to which one you can get cheaper.....and i'd be shocked if the zx is cheaper than 335.

ive ran zx's and kx's at 1 ohm. some do it, some dont (same board, nearly indentical internal components). the 2500.1 board is one of my favorite 2.5kw amps actually.

I had one run all day at 1 ohm off a semi stock electrical keeping it around 12v and it never cut out. it would get hot as balls after about 30min of full tilt playing but it still played. to the ear there wasnt really any noticable gain in dB's from 2 ohm to 1 ohm.... granted every install has different variables, but that was my experience.

I had another that i ran off a better electrical and it stayed around 12.8v-13.1v full tilt and it would frequently cut out on the heavy bass notes. kind of weird since the electrical was actually better in this setup.

I've read up a bunch on that kicker board @ 1 ohm and for the most part it's same results I got, it may or may not work. If you're working with a 2 ohm load then the kicker is a better option, if you're doing 1 ohm then the orion is a much more reliable option.

i saw the ad for the zx, while that is a good price for a zx, my price is better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif worst case senario if you dont like the orion you're getting it for cheap enough you can easily resell it and make your money back. ive got ALOT of interest on it, but no one has been able to come up with the cash right away. i've got 2 other people saying they're commited but just need to gather the funds. so I'd imagine it'll be getting sold soon.

np man. as much as i wanna sell this if you're working with a 2 ohm load then the zx is a better bet for you.

or just sell your shit and get a 1 ohm load setup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

wish i was coming to tampa and could do a local with you. but im pretty busy the next few weeks.

at least the shipping wont be as bad for me and itll get to you like next day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If I had the cash in hand Id drive up there, fck it...I like that amp because it can be run to .5ohm with no problem...it was going to be part of my original setup involving 2 mag12's. Now its bumped up to 2 x Mag15's Im looking at, and I need something to power them up with lol.

Lol i can't belive you still got this... Nasty deal and nobody have the cash wtf hahaha

To the guy interested in a ZX2500 whats your budget? Cause i got one and i'll be more than happy buying this Orion. 1, .5 stable and +2700 watts all day long!

Bump for ya!
