Hi all,

okay here i go. first i ran my wiring down the right side (pasenger side) like all my wires power, 12v, and output(rca). i hooked up my 4002 amp and everything worked 100% np at all what so ever, i am running a pair of pioneer 5way 460watt 6x9's.

now i install my 1200d right next to it (about 4-4.5in away from it) and run the wiring all in the same spot. then i turn on my car to see if it all works and out of the speaks i get this buzzing noise kind a like i am getting feedback from something. so now i am like wtf it was working 100% a few minutes ago. so i pull the inline fuse out for the orion 1200d (o i am running 2 sets of 4 gauge wiring) and i still have that problem.

so my buddy is telling me that my power wire (12v) are too close to the RCA (preout wires) and i need to move them to the other side of the car... does this sound right to you guys or did i fuk something up.

i didn't touch the orion 4002 at all during the instal of the 1200d.

so i have no idea what is wrong os if someone could be so kind to help me out that would be hot!

so thank you to all who read this and to all future helpers!

It's doubtful that it is the signal cables. I would search for a better ground for both amps. Try separating the grounds also. Make sure when you connect the ground wire to the chassis that it is a direct connect with NO paint or anything in between the contacts. Use sand paper or what ever to get rid of it.

Its usually a good idea to run your RCA's on the opposite side of the car from the power wires to keep noise to a minimum.

right now i have one ground wire hooked up to the steel around the truck i did use a 2in disk to grind the paint away, but yes i will try your idea and try a new ground for the wire(s) and also i don't my ground soodered to the ring terminal...should it be?

It doesn't have to be to make decent contact. Make sure to separate the grounds from one another.

You might want to try taking the 1200d out completely and confirm whether or not it is the problem. It could be a ground issue with your headunit.

you know what i never even though about the deck having an issue with the ground i will doulbe ckeck on the wires, do you think it is a good idea to run the wires to the other side of the car? (rca away from the power wires). and also if the there is no power in the orion 1200d could that still effect ther 4002 amp?

alrighty i ran the RCA's over to the other side of the car and yes it made a little differences but i still have the feedback but not as loud as it was before. i also jsut moved my ground wire and no differnces. so now i am going to hook an mp3 player up to the amp and see if it is still there the feedback that is. and if the feedbakc is gone then i know my problem is with the rca cable in which i will have ot run a new one and if it is still there then i don't kow wtf is going on
