Well, my last question, which if any, of these 3 alts would be big enough to run my system off of without extra batteries/ etc. etc. etc. so i could use my system without any thought, and no worries about draining my batt, etc. He's got a 200, a 220, and a 240. Right now, i have a kenwood xxv-02A, which is 88w rms x 4 and a hifonics bxi2006d. In the future, tho, i'm going to replace the bxi2006d with an orion 2500d, and i don't want to add batteries, just plug and play daily driver. Are any of those 3 alts realistically big enough? Would any of them still have overhead? If there's a chance i could get the alt. in a week, i think i'm gonna have to do this before i 2nd thought myself tomorrow morning, and just make my budget work around it for a few weeks. I think i can do without fast food and smokes for a bit. So which one's worth wrecking my pocketbook over? Want to make sure once i finally close my hood with my new alt. in it, i wont have to open it for a long time, i'm sure you know the feeling. So 200, 220, 240, which is the smallest, if any, that will suit my needs. No extra batteries, no voltage drops, no problems, smiles all around?
