Bear in mind that JL Audio is vehimently opposed to online retailers selling JL product...
Which means that JL won't even think about honoring even blatant defect coverage, should you receive a dud. And because of that, expect that even in blatant defect scenarios, these shops that claim to offer warranties may give you very significant hardship, as any return they get they have to completely eat..

Also, bear in mind that almost all online JL resellers get their gear from one source...
And that source, reputedly, removes JL's serial numbers from their strategically hidden locations.. quite often this activity itself causes damage to the equipment.
So... give it some thought... what is a few bucks saved worth to you?
You might consider it cheap insurance...
And bear in mind, I'm building a business that is founded on the premise that "bricks and mortar only" practices like JL promotes is simply wrong... (their highly flawed theory is that "installed by an authorized dealer" is synonomous with "installed properly", and it will result in fewer returns to them...
