if your going to buy ID looking into the IDMAX, now that sub would love that 1000/1

it bass it tight, & i will can it dry, with a lot punch,& it will go lower then that 13w6

I agree. It'd be a waste to change out a more than capable substage and find out that there wasn't anything wrong there.

An IDmax will run off that 500/1 just fine. They are easy to push. You could also go with a pair of the ID series which are closer to your rated RMS power. You wont be pushing IDQ's very loud with 250 per sub. Are you not happy with your current setup?
