? on rca converter where to splice in

well i did the searching but never found a good answer i've got a 97 acura 3.0cl with the bose. I am putting a sub and amp in and leaving the factory bose also. Should I splice in the converter behind the head unit/before the bose amp. or is it ok to just jump off the speakers in the back

 
I would try to do it near the speakers. But in order to confirm it will work I'd put a 0db 1khz sine wave on a cd - play it at full volume on repeat and measure the ac voltage of the speaker wire near the speaker(s) you're considering splicing into to figure out how much power your HU is producing. Most LOC's are good for 20-30w so as long as it's not over that you should be good to go.
