I pre-drilled holes for my screws, but I grabbed the wrong size drill (one size bigger, forgot exactly what size).//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif So I went ahead and just filled them in with some wood glue and drilled with correct size drill and put in my screws. Now before I put in sub and all, will the box still be ok. Just want to make sure box will be safe for sub.

Thanks,

one question....

So I went ahead and just filled them in with some wood glue and drilled with correct size drill and put in my screws

So you filled all the holes with wood glue that you predrilled (because they were larger then the actual screw you were using). Then you predrilled correctly sized holes and screwed the screws in?

I would say you are fine. I mean if there is no air leaking out, I might have filled the holes with something else, but regardless i would say you are fine. You might want to buy some bondo and just spread it over all the holes.

If you drill a hole too big, it's best to use wood glue and toothpicks btw..

As long as the glue has set, your enclosure will be fine. Once the glue cures, screws don't really do anything for your enclosure. Some people remove the screws once the glue has cured and some people don't even use them. You will be fine.

After I read my post, it didn't make sense.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif At work and was trying to hurry up.

Yea, I filled in bigger holes with wood glue then I made new ones about 1 1/2'' away from old ones. Only using about 3 screws on longer sides and 2 for shorter sides. Didn't think about using toothpicks.
