? on carpeting

I have been wanting to try this for a while and think I am going to do it on my current build I am working on. What if I cut out a peice of carpet, put a lot of spray adhesive on it, put it on the box and let it dry. Once its dry (or still wet) use a air powered finish nailer around all of the edges to keep the carpet on. Has anyone done this before and if so does it work?

yeh dude. I used 3m spray adhesive and some staples. I just stapled the back and bottom. It looks primo, and held up great.
