I am a newb looking for a very vesitile, high quality amp that I can use for years to come as my systems evolve in my cars.
I am looking at 4 channels at about 100 +/- at 2-4 ohms that pushes (actually pushes, not just rated at) 300 to 400 watts RMSx2 when bridged at 4 ohms for about $1-$250 shipped.
So far I have been convinced that the MTX TA5604 is the cream of the crop, 432or1 channel operation, Xtant cooling technology etc etc (check out mtx.com) and for the low $200s. However,
I still want to hear opinions on the others from you guys with more experience, what to stay away from, what to buy?
-MTX TA5604 (Seems awesome)
-Rockford Fosgate Power T600-4 (by far the most $)
-HiFonics TXI 6406
-Pioneer Premier PRS-D4000F
-JBL PX300.4
-US Amps XT-1600.4 (looks like a good option)
-Sundown Audio SAX-100.4
-ED Nine.4 (low power rating)
-DDs-4 (Price? anyone?)
-Cadence FX 104 (Least expensive, but who are they?)
All help is greatly appreciated!
