I really haven't been specifically helped... But I have read things that have influenced my equipment choices... my installs... Really most of the knowledge I have is from watching ONE install, and from my own experience of trial and error stemming off from that.

I've yet to physically hear any xplod stuff so I'm not gonna say it's bad or call anyone a noob because that's the type of equipment they have. I bet half of the people on here that downplay Sony haven't even physically heard what Sony has to offer.

The P5's get pretty loud. They have like no SQ at all, even sealed.

The amps are pretty weak and cost to much for what they do

The H/U's are ugly and dont offer good options for fine tuning like pioneer,eclipse,alpine,clarion.

I still own a XPLOD amp, it lasted for 5 years and run at ohms its not supposed to.

The protection kicks in if the volume is to loud.

It gets plenty hot though. Never shut off because of heat.
