So that's why they over-motored the Ti pro. lol
Hope that guy wasn't planning on using that sub afterwards. they say not to push a speaker cone in by hand for fear of pushing it out of alignment and rubbing the vc etc, what about having a 10-20lb baby riding on the thing? makes for a nice video, but wasn't too smart of someone imho (unless the sub was bad already).
edit: and for the guy who said he didnt realize subs were that strong, remember these are 2-4hp motors (4hp on that Ti Pro). If you've ever taken a high school physics class you know that even 1hp is alot of actual 'work'.
And let this be a leason to you guys, for the guys who think a couple of extra grams of moving mass (ie: larger cones) make for any audible 'slowing' of the transient response, this video shows the power of a sub and how a few grams one way or the other will make NO audible difference in the cone motion and/or speaker performance.
