Newer memphis amps are rates at 14.4v, I've used many memphis amps, new and old, and this MC series is by far the best quality IMO. These are the same amp/board as the black heat sink ones with the red fire mojo logo in the middle.
These amps can be modded to run 1 ohm daily and half ohm burps doing 3kw ish maybe more. If you do this make sure you have the electrical to back it up and know exactly what you're doing as far as the odding. This amp is not modded. Guts looks clean and unmolested. Amps like this tend to run fine at 1 ohm as long as you can keep your voltage up. I ran this at 1 ohm on the way home for about 15min at or above 14v and it was warm, not even hot. My old mtx 1501d would also do 1 ohm daily (unmodded) at or around 13v for about 30min before getting hot enough to be concerned.
...This amp is powerful enough that while bumping with it on said trip home I got a $101.00 bass ticket from a state trooper....on christmas day.....buy this amp and fund my pay the man foundation.
amp has some scratches, but works great...too great lol.... check out the pics.
