I assume you guys realize those PPI's are not the original flat piston sub of years ago. Almost totally different from what Ive seen (diff motor w/ dual gap, diff frame, etc). Only thing 'old school' about them is the flat cone I guess, and that's not really an advantage imo.

Look really nice though. The PPI flat cones are one of the best looking cones ever made imo.

I was looking at one of the new PPI pro subs in a store not too long ago and the cone is just as sexy as before. The only thing was that is was NOT a flat piston. I was pretty disappointed. I didn't get to listen to it though.

I loved the sound of the old PPI flat pistons but they weren't that loud. Awesome sounding drivers though.
