I first caught the car audio bug in 1987-88. It didn't take long for the competitive juices to start flowing and I started competing in local sound offs. I started in the 50 watt class using a Punch45 powering 4 tweeters, 6 midbass drivers, and 2 10's. I still have a shoe box full of caps and coils...lol. I eventually wanted more, which I think we all share to some extent, and ended up with the Punch45, 2 Punch75's and 2 Punch150's driving a total of 16 speakers. Back in the early 90's that was alot of power in a daily driver, not to mention the investment! I've been away from car audio for 10 years, and just recently caught the bug again. I wanted to introduce myself because I'll be reading alot of posts and hopefully chatting with you experienced audiophiles. I'll be putting together two systems in the next few months, one for me and one for the wife, and I'd really appreciate all the help I can get. I'm a decent box builder, understand speakers, crossovers, and basic equalization, but the new technology thats available is amazing. Of course I could go find an old school HCCA225 and see how many speakers I can drive...lol, but I've already been down that road. Anyway, I wanted to introduce myself so that you might cut me a little slack for being a dumb f*** once in awhile...lol. Hope to chat with you all soon. Brandon
