Ok I have decided on a

1000/1 Jl Audio to a pair of JL 10W7's. Having said that how much power do I need for the doors? I have a 2007 F150 Harley on the way. I am thinking 2-300/2 for 1600 watts total. Is that enough? I could do 2 450-4's 1 channel to the mid and 1 to the tweeter like I have in my vette?

The truck with hit hard but is that enough for the mids and highs?

why two 10's? why not a single 12 or 13?

Sorry I have a 2007 F150 Harley coming and a 12 or 13 will not fit. I was going with either MB Quarts Q216 the new line which I haven't heard or the QSD216 which is what I have now and love. I like my tweeters very bright and they are.
