In my opionion....yes. Everyone will have a different opinion. I've seen threads with 1 10'' BL hitting over 140db on the tl. I've never seen two 10's sealed do that.

I just dont wanna be disappointed in the end. I want to get the max out of my new amp, and I know either option will blow my old setup out of the water.

If you can fit almost 2 cubes under your seat you shouldn't be disappointed. Use at least 20in^2 of port and make sure you have 1.25@32 or 33hz and you'll be set. Get the zx1500.1 and be careful with the gains.

IMO You will be happier long term with the sealed 10's. A ported sub could be louder, but probbaly will not sound as clean and may not be louder at all frequencies just near the tuned frequency.

Are you doing this to play test tones in a competition or listen to music?

Also several people have fit 2 12's or 4 10's in the titan CC if you are after SPL.

If your going ported the best location of the port is probably towards the rear doors.

I'm running 2 TC1000's without a seat left in my KC and I hardly every crank it up loud, I just can't bear it anymore. I managed to squeeze about .65 Cuft per sub after displacement of the box and no fiberglass. The REx should be plenty loud. But I'm not playing test tones either so it depends on your needs. Have you ever owned them? I had 3 10" sealed off the IA 20.1 and that's about all they wanted to take from the feeling of the center of the cone.

Anyway, you make up you own mind. My SEs got almost as loud sealed as my 1 12" XXX ported off of the same power...almost.
