Will i get deeper bass running @ 4 ohms vs. 1 ? seems like i remember the lower the load the tighter it sounded but i dunno... i'm debating on a 2ch. bridged @ 4ohms, or a mono amp to run @ 1ohm for a SPLX15. LMK what yall think.. i know alot depends on the box but thats taken care of, it'll be factory specs 3 cubes @ 34hz.

you won't get "deeper bass" running different loads. that's dependent ON THE BOX, and it also takes double the power to increase the decibel level.

1ohm will give you more power (dependent of course) as opposed to 4 ohms. but also, at 4 ohms your amp doesn't work as hard to produce power either so running a higher load would benefit the amp better, but it's not cost-effecient to buy an amp that does 1000+rms@ 4ohms as opposed to 1000+@1ohm.

i'd find an amp that puts out enough power for your sub @1ohm and go from there.

yea preciate it, i was gonna go with the soundstream tra1000.2 for 1000rms @ 4ohms. but i think im gonna go with the hifonics1206D, w/ 1200 @1ohm its cheaper, LOOKS like more power and has the high level inputs since i still got my factory HU. save a lil on the line converter also. so much for tryin to be different lol looks like hifonics is popular for a reason.
