Yesterday I ordered my 12" Alpine Type R from onlinecarstereo.com... I got one out of two that they had left. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif And $149 is a respectable price.

It should get here tomorrow or friday... I'm currently building an MDF box for it... I can't wait for it to get here, but it's too bad that i have to wait 13 days until i get my next paycheck so I can order a JBL 600.1

I saw that etronics has it for 114, but the website also said "this item is unavailable". Oh well, i don't care. Better than paying 200 with crutchfield!

My dad and myself spent the afternoon cutting the sides of the box out of the MDF. I designed the box using a drafting program on my computer and it's really perfect. Tomorrow I'm cutting out the holes for the sub and the terminal cup and buying carpet from the upholstery place near my house.

By the way, I definitely reccomend OnlineCarStereo.com to anyone. They didn't give me any problems with ordering or processing, and the package shipped from LA to central AZ in less than two days. The only trouble I had was that they only took the billing address of the credit card, which is a PO box. I had to go to the UPS place and give them my street address.
