well i installed my deck yesterday and since i was running new wire for my front comp and didnt get those in, i only had the rear speakers, and anything worked fine

today, i got the passenger side comp in, and i wired up the X-over and turned the radio on, but no sound came out from any of the speakers, the HU appears to work fine, i can switch between tuner and CD and the antenna goes up when i turn it on, theres just no sound from any of the speakers (there shouldn't be from the driver-side front one anyway)

does any one have any idea what i could have done? this really does not make me happy

Do your rear speakers still work? If so wire up the fronts to them to see if it is the wiring or crossover or speaker.

Are any of the speaker wires shorted out?

Well, that sucks. Are there any presets on your head unit to turn off the output, making it a dead head?

nevermind guys, i called my friend and we worked it out, turns out i have a bad cross-over, or that's what it seems like, hooked the other one up and everything was fine, now i just have to get a new cross-over
