how old were u when you got in to car audio

Installed my first car audio in 1969, at 17 lol. It was 8-track tape decks and Jensen speakers in those days. Been doing it ever since.

Here's an old fart's story for ya.. A few years ago I did a major restoration on my 85 Oldsmobile. Even painted it myself.

It came out nice.

Installed a nice system in it, with a pair of Kicker free air subs in the rear deck. So I'm toolin' down the road, bumpin' to some DMX. I pull up beside some kids at a light and they're all lookin around for where the boom is comming from. Then they see me in the Oldsmoboat... white beard, suspenders, smoking a pipe... the looks on their faces was WTF??? Priceless.

Only stories better then those(which are priceless for sure), are the old men I meet on street bikes riding wheelies for miles. I get about a mile or two on one wheel and my arms turn to jello..they go for another few and then carry on like it was nothing. Never know how old they are till you stop to fuel up and they take their helmet off.... and look like they could have been in WWII haha.
