Now, if you would get approval. (dont even know if this is acceptable around here) and could some how prove that it was infact legit, there would be no problem with it.

I've had the idea to do this also...but set the amount of tickets low, therfor you couldnt possible make more than the asking price of the product.

thats the only reason i would have a raffle for anything, and probably why lots of people do. to make more money than you would by just selling it for an asking price
