I'm laughing read these threads. The majority of the posts are coming from people who are heavily influenced by either far right or far left wing media.

Why are we complaining about Obama or even Bush for that matter? They are our presidents and no matter what the **** happens, realize that you are not in the White House and you are not faced with plenty of difficult decisions that effect the world every day. Complaining and tossing out theories is so absurd.

Yes, I voted for Obama, however I do like Mccain. I don't label myself democrat or republican, because that's all we ****ign hear nowadays, both party supporters going back and forth babbling about "Oh Obama is a terrorist his middle name is HUSSEIN OMGZ" and "OMG BUSH IS THE SOLE REASON THIS COUNTRY HAS BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS." If you want to make a change in this country, then be proactive and do something about it.

I'm all for repealing the 22nd amendment, but I don't think it is something that should be controlled by a small circle of Democrats. I don't know what the rules are for repealing amendments, but significant constitutional changes should have the opportunity to be voted on by the populace, in my opinion.

But we don't repeal amenedments. We make a new amendment saying the old amendment is obsolete.

In state constitutions, all the people vote.

By proxy, I assume of course you mean that their respective representatives cast the vote. I would prefer something closer to the state amendment votes.

That would be ideal...but so would weighing electoral voted based on percentage of votes each party received, or just doing away with electoral votes and using popular vote.

In my opinion for one state (California) to have such a great impact on the election with 55 electoral votes is absurd. If one candidate wins that state by 1 vote, they gain 55 votes. Such a flawed system.
