Why is it for 8 years the democrats b****** and complain that Bush was spending money into the deficit. But Obama already wants to be trillions more in debt=fail. He thinks that government is the only one that can save this. That iss B.S. the problem is he wants to take businesses money (in the form of taxes) to redistribute. That is why there is massive job losses since he became president elect. businesses cannot afford 10% more in taxes so they are trimming the fat. Obama=fail. This was all in his speech 2 minutes ago.

It's an ideology thing. General consensus among Keynesian and Monetarist economists is that the US has to go into further debt to smooth things out and prevent a large collapse. Of course, Austrian economists say that the market should fall without government intervention, but Austrian economists have little say in the U S of A.

Bush, on the other hand, wasn't facing the same challenge. It's an apples to orange comparison.

The job losses are happening every where, even in countries where Obama won't be President. To say that there is a direct cause-effect relationship there is grasping at straws, to say the least.

This thread was good at first but then it went to totall shiit. Who cares who the president is, your country is fuuked beyond belief. your best chance for resurection is to bring clinton back.

you guys dont want the market to handle itself, really. the wealth needs to be spread. otherwise you will get the late 1890's to early 1900's Russia situation. And trust me, you dont want that. Sure it sucks for the business owners and people with money, but if someone does not force wealth spreading you will be in a rather shitty situation sooner or later. I personally couldnt care less about Obama or his policies but some of you guys need to read some books and learn more about the free market and all of its aspects. Only b/c you were born between 70 and 85 and all you have seen is the last 35 or so years doesnt mean that is all there to it. And by "it" i refer to your free capitalist market and economy. There is MUUUUUUCH more to it, but you'd have to read some books to know about that.

lol democrats generally talk about issues then run away from the issues that do not make them look good. I know this because I am a democrat and have been 1 for 20+ years.
