WOW...

CES sucked this year. Maybe it is just me but I felt that attendance was less than years past. I also noticed there were not as many vendors as in years past. The vendors who were there didn't bring nearly as much as the had in years past. A few that I saw didn't even bring any product at all. I am sitting here in the airport waiting to fly back to Cincinnati very disappointed and seriously concerned for the electronics industry and the economy in general.

I was even disappointed in the high end home audio. I have come to the conclusion that I would rather own a BOSE system than some of the 'high' end home audio systems! Basically most of it sounds like shit. Out of the whole HA section the only loudspeakers I liked that I haven't heard befoe were Dali and Thiel.

Overall, this trip was a waist of time and money. In years past me and the company that I work for have made connections, found new products to put in our stores, and new ideas to save and make money. This year was not as it was in years past.

If it's like it was 2 years ago, then what can you expect when they shove the high end audio guys in a small room in a hotel and tell them to setup their speakers.
