Any bolt that is connected to the main metal part of the block I think. So where do I connect the wire to the block?
So that silver metal piece is the block? the block on my car has several bolts. Can I just remove one of those to ground to?I just finished my big 3 upgrade. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it'd be. This car is a dream to work on compared to my old Buick.
Here are some pics of the wires I added. The gigantic blue ones are obvious. Those are the new 1/0 gauge grounds. The red one is my 4 gauge amp wire running to my trunk.

That's what I did. Just make sure the bolt is very tight when you're done. For obvious reasons. So that silver metal piece is the block? the block on my car has several bolts. Can I just remove one of those to ground to?
effectively called the BIG 4i have - from batt to body/frame
- from batt to engine block
- from engine block to body/frame
+from alt to + on batt
all 1/0
so what is the diff in those first 2.. besides the obvious 2 diff. locations.. sounds like the do the exact same thingi have - from batt to body/frame

it's the same. the alt uses the engine as it's neg.Whats the difference in grounding the Alternator to the chassis compared to the Block to the chassis? And should I do one of them over the other?
i just dont understand how bat- to chassis is diff. than batt- to block.. block is attached to the chassis isnt itfor reference:
BIG 3
alt + to battery +
engine block to - battery post
- battery post to chassis/frame
