I can't stand Matt Hughes either.

They are the way they are to sell fights. When they are interviewed when they do not have a big fight they sound alot more hummble and down to earth. Even if you say "they don't need the money" BJ Penn is very proud that 2 of his fights are the biggest PPV draws ever. That was his kick with Sean Sherk. After that fight Penn was no longer an A-hole to Sherk or pounding his chest until he started talking about GSP. Rich guys still want money otherwise why don't the big named players in boxing, football, basketball and baseball just sign with any teams for cheap after they made their hundreds of millions????

Other than that, I did horrible last night. I went 2-3 on the main card. Only got Parysian and GSP right.

Who the hell is he fighting? That was a pretty nasty knee. GSP had a few last night that made me cringe. I think thats what did him in, possibly a broken rib.

Alves is a good fighter. His last loss was to Jon Fitch when Fitch wasn't as good as he is now.

GSP beat Fitch (decision) but I wouldn't be totally shocked to see GSP lose his title, Welter Weight is STACKED. Its like running the gauntlet just to get a title shot.
