Any idea's on this? JL audio VR650-csi components (driver, tweeter and passive crossover) - Running from a JL audio 300/4 Decided it was time to go active (using the alpine h701 processor) which was already being used and connected Removed passive crossover from the jl audio components and wired everything active... everything connected correctly (not to mention sounded SAWEEEEET!) Turned the car on and as i accelerated i got the ole 'alternator whine' from my front right tweeter.. Crap... So today I decided to go back to the original setup using the passive crossover.... no alternator ground whine What gives?? Any idea what would or could cause that issue while running it active? I have some possible theories but I'd love to hear what you guys might think first.
