Someone actually on this forum told me about this movie, and I looked it up on IMDB and was facinated from the moment I started reading, so I of course had to download the film //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
I really dont watch mainstream movies in the first place, so Indie movies like this always attract me anyways, but when I read the subject matter (futuristic, undercover cops and drug addiciton, human interaction and drama) I was intrigued. The entire movie was filmed, then animated over the film giving the whole animation a "live" feel to it ... something that I think most animation lacks in the first place.
What really made me like this film is that some of my favorite "odd" actors are in this film, Keanu Reaves (as an addicted undercover cop), Woody Harelson (as an addict), Robert Downey Jr (who plays a tweaky addict, and is a addict in real life oddly enough), and Wynona Ryder (addict and girlfriend of Keanu). The whole film is a lush trip thru a twisted web of deciept with a murky feel of drug addiction and paranoia. Kinda like Sin City without the bad dialogue and blood, and better acting. You wont find this film in the theaters, it was a limited release and wont be out on DVD yet, so fire up those torrents and see if you can download a copy. Movie had a real twist in the end, was a great flick if you want to see something "different"
