i bought a shiityy 1997 cherokee sport for $3100. i just sunk $2200 in repairs into and i wanna sell it for $5100. my fiancee said thats not gonna happen according tokelley blue book. so i get on craigslist and look at some jeeps on there. 1997 jeep cherokees sell for 1800-3000 bucks. ok maybe i won't get $5100 BUT is it stupid to try to get $4100 - $4200 for it??help shortdude........

Ouch... Jeeps like that go for ~$1500 or less all the time around here. I cant see anyone payin 4k+...

there is alot of people that do this. they dont really look over the car if it starts they buy it no matter what works . im like this i have bought cars/ trucks and said yea it dont have power this or that thats cool or if somthing was messed up i said i will get used to it or fix it. u just **** at buying cars and u really should not sell the jeep. have your wife do it and im sure she would hold her ground when it comes to people talkin you down. u will just fold and take WHATEVER they give you. its ok i 2 **** at buying cars. hugs

Why don't you just paint it and put power options on it? Isn't gonna cost as much as your already gonna lose..

You can do a lot of the work yourself to save yourself a lot of money.....you can order power window motors on eBay for super cheap

You paid $3100 for a 1997 jeep that needed over $2k in repairs? Sorry bro, but unless you are very lucky, you are gonna lose your ass on this one. Next time check the resale value before buying and/or spending a lot on repairs.
