I have purchased a set of CADENCE CWM6-KIT for the front and Phoenix Gold RSd6 for the rear of my 08

Hummer H3 but am looking for suggestions to drive them. I like the DSC-4125 but at $180 there are others that I would consider over it. What amp is comparible to the DSC that is in the $150 or lower range. Thanks in advance

It's getting really bad, how spoiled everyone has become since the release of the Discus series; now everyone on this site expects amps that produce loads of good, clean power for less than $100. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

That's only a $30 difference. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

For some people who are on a serious budget, like myself, that $30 can make all the difference. But you drive an '08 H3, and I drive a '98 Dakota and am a college student making minimum wage, so...maybe you should consider a new hobby if that $30 is too much for you.

$171 shipped via VM with coupon save5now or $170 off ebay with 8% bing. FWIW

I would have still bought mine even if it was ~$200 cause the rep is so good on here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

sorry if i am an ******* but you have a nack for buying junk?

i know the DCS isn't total just but by god its no where near quality nor are those speakers..

its sad there is a market for that cheap stuff..

honestly i think you might want to look into the cadence ZRS lines.. there decent amps for next to nothing..

hmmmmm--from what I've read, this forum doesn't agree, but I would love for you to justify your opinion

It's not that $30 is too much but as I read through the forums and see that there are amps out there that are good quality for $15o or less then why spend the extra $, that's all. I have spent alot more for alot less, but if the eneral opinion is that it is still worth the $180, I'll jump on it

umm again cheap amps use cheap parts.. sure its a good design but if you knew what they cost to make you would know what i mean..its the lowend maxsonics stuff i wouldn't consider them midgrade...

this SS low line amp is a step up..

RUB4.600 - Soundstream 4 Ch. 600 Watt RMS Rubicon Series A/B Class Amplifier

they can charge 200 for such an amp but i've yet to be impressed with the maxxsonics products..
I'm not afraid to spend $ here. Share some more ideas. I don't want my H3 full of junk and apparently I was mislead with speaker selection

those speakers are great for their price he is prob going to recommend some 200 dollar id's etc, but for those price ranges those are some of the best components u can buy, as u see he has yet answer ur question

They are capable budget speakers. Listen to them and decide for yourself. Only way to tell. I'm guessing you'll enjoy them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

As far as amps are concerned, the DSC is definitely a forum boner. Many people like them, use them. But if you want a good deal on a good product (and if no warranty is ok) check the classifieds for something.
