I bought a backup deck off Ebay for cheap, a Kenwood KDC-mp5032. Hooked it up and all it says is code. Dam these people. so now I am stuck with a deck thats in code mode. All I wanted is a cheap deck to use till the new Alpine comes out. So now I have to file a claim with this jerk and try to get my money back.

or you could just get an overide code? im sure kenwood will give you one, if you can verify a serial number

I had the same issue a long time ago with a HU, can't remember the brand but I brought it to a local electronics shop and they were able to fix it.. It was not really a car stereo shop but more of a place they work on the internal electronics of amps, HU's etc.

Might want to call the local CA shop and see if they have anyone local you could use or call Kenwood I know for a fact authorized repair centers can reset them.

well i bought a textbook about 3 weeks ago for a class that started 2 weeks ago... and it still havent arrived to this day

just waiting for amazons return period so i can get a refund eventually

thank god for used book stores, if not for them i would be failing that class right now

I am going to email them about the code. Im sure they are a pawn shop so Im not getting my hopes up. Been checking online for codes but no luck. The Alpine im waiting for is the cda-9887.
